Artemisia Gentileschi(1593-1656 a.C.) was a famous Italian painter of the 17 century. She was introduced to painting as child in her father's workshop,the painter Orazio Gentileschi.She suffered traumatic events in her life but she never abandoned painting.Her style of painting was very close to the dramatic realism as Caravaggio,her main font of ispiration.
