Chris is kind and charming while his father seems to be somewhat serious and heartless. While Nicodemus embraced his vampiric side, Chris is trying to contain it and be like everyone else— much to his father's distaste. It has become obvious Chris does not like his father, either because he considers him a soulless monster or because he still calls him Christoph. Although his father has proved to be much stronger than him, Chris trains for the day when he will prevail over him. #vampires
