Miriam’s interest in burlesque began after she attended a charity burlesque show near her retirement home. She instantly fell in love with the confidence and energy of the dancers, as well as the sassy and sensual style of the dance form itself. After the show, Miriam walked right up to one of the dancers after the show and asked her what it was like to do burlesque.
