Little Athena has grown up! Her love of books has blossomed and she dreams of being a successful writer. The two have since adopted Salem. Carmen resented having an animal but little Athena just couldn't turn the pup away. Salem and Athena are best friends and although Carmen doesn't like pets, behind closed doors she loves him just as much as Athena does. Carmen raised Athena to be strong and ambitious.
