Warren and Maria met in art school. They are now raising two girls, one from Warren's previous relationship and one they adopted together (because Maria is trans and so can't concieve). While they and Warren's biological daughter are very artistic their adopted daughter Adriana seems to fancy herself more of a scientist than an artist.
