The Sekrei Empire took over Sulani at the beginning, but not the Sulani we know. Underneath lays an underwater volcanic leak. Millions of minions spawn from the magma at the bottom of the sea. The minions form from the magic king, King Golthmem. He grants life to these evil monsters. When the King saw how special Max was, he raised him as his own, next in line to bring evil over the island of Sulani.
