A native of Sulani, Kauri is a retired pro-surfer and has now made a living as a bonafide surfing instructor, fishing guru, a local expert of Sulani culture and a recycle disciple. He is determined to clean up the beaches of Sulani and wants to ensure that the islands are preserved for generations to come.
