This is Diego, the standard #Xoloitzcuintli aka #MexicanHairlessDog. #Aztec legend has it that Xolotl, God of fire, lightning and death, created the Itzcuintli (Aztec for dog); tasked as spirit guides through the underworld. History of the Xolo dates back +3,000 years, not only are they one of the world's oldest breeds; they are also one of the rarest.
