Yami, Kagome, and Ankoku are Ju-On's family. They were brutally murdered by a vengeful spirit that lived in their house. They are now all trapped in the house. But the evil spirit has separated Ju-On from her family. This creates anger in all of them. They too haunt any family that moves into their home.
