Nure-onna is a Japanese yokai (supernatural monster from Japanese folklore). Nure-onna has the body of a snake with the head of a woman. Kiyohime is a rare yokai who started off as a human. Kiyohime fell deeply in love with a monk. However, when her love was rejected her emotions took her over.
