I have not quit the gallery, but I have quit smoking. To do so I had to walk away from my studio, computer, & all actvities linked to smoking. For many years, (since I was a teen), I smoked 2-3 packs of cigarettes a day. Over this past year I really started to feel it. I began to fear my children would lose their mother before they reached adulthood. Because of the magnitude of my nicotine dependance, I realized I didn't have the strength to taper off.
