Jamar was left alone to raise his daughter, Kaila, once her mother disappeared after her birth. He remained optimistic and goofy for Kaila as she grew up and in turn, she pushed him to purse his dreams of being a doctor! During his time there, he ends up taking in two homeless teens, Mike and Brandi. Both awkward and to themselves, he hopes to inspire them to follow their dreams too.
