I am so lucky to have had my father as one of my best friends ever. Even in my darkest days he always made me feel I could get through and life was going to be ok. I love him beyond belief. This past week his body slowly gave up the fight for life. Mentally and emotionally he was with us to the end. He held my hand and told me he loved me and that I would be strong.
