Ask anyone whose ever met the Yates- they're the perfect family. Jonathan met his wife Marie-Anne while travelling aboard for charity work, and they were engaged by the time they returned to Willow Creek. Their eldest daughter Melanie was born about a year after the couple married, David and Claire being born sometime later, of course.
