She was raised in an 'alternative household' with no real father figure, so it makes sense that she's a bit of a troublemaker. Her parental figures mean well and gave her some real basic, clearly good rules to follow, but she breaks them anyway. You try to reason with her, but of course she can't keep it together and ends up passed out. She's luky a nice guy found her and not a psychopath.
