Madelynn, the daughter of actor Joshua Mays and his insult comedian wife, was diagnosed with a rare chromosome-deletion syndrome at birth, Wolf-Hirshhorn Syndrome. With mild intellectual disability and heart defects, Madelynn's parents were told she would never thrive, but she soldiers on with empathy and curiosity.
