Calder was born after his father Marius met and was subsequently impregnated by an actor named Jaxen Diamond, who claimed to be a prince of the alien planet Sixam. Although Jaxen quickly moved on to his next conquest (leaving Marius to raise a child by himself), Calder grew up hooked on Jaxen's films, and desired to have adventures just like the characters his father portrayed.
