My take on the Chesapeake bay retriever, as a puppy. These Retrievers are strong, willful dogs but can still make good companions especially for active, single pet households. A working breed originating from Newfoundland that can be good for a variety of work including hunting, competitive agility, guard dog duty, retrieving, flyball,and field sports.
