Meet Kate Brooks and her son Leo! They were on the same same ship as Sydney and Oliver, although there used to be 3 members of the Brooks family. When the ship sank Kate's husband did everything in his power to save his wife and kid. He found a piece of the ship and had them float on it. The 3 of them wee floating for hours when a big wave from a nearby ship came and made him go under.
