Growing up, they'd always been told that Glimmerbrook was a safe haven for mermaids, so when their parents died in a "fishing accident", Zane took his little sister Ondine and ran away to find a new home. While Ondine is a little sweetheart,Zale is so protective over her that he sometimes lashes out (he's a good kid really, just been through a lot and wants to protect his sister from anything that might upset her) Hopefully they will find a new place to call home together #mermaid #mermaidorphan
