Unfortunately his Father lost the chicken farm when Joe left the gate open and all the chickens ran away. This meant that supplying their only paying customer, Rodney and the chicken factory, ceased and caused Rodney to lose his business. Chicken Joe's father kicked him out and sent Joe into the world to earn his own way. Joe now delivers groceries to the good folk of Henford-On-Bagley.
