Lady Bird Johnson
Claudia Alta Taylor born Dec22, 1912 was an #American socialite and the #FirstLady of the #UnitedStates as the wife of the 36th #President Lyndon B. #Johnson from 1963 to 1969. After her husband's death, she took up social issues, such as #women's #rights. In 1988 she received the Congress Gold Medal for her contribution to #environmental protection.She died on July 11, 2007. From childhood she was called #LadyBird thanks to her #black cook. #activist #WhiteHouse #Kennedy
