Bitter over having been left at the docks all those years, Erasmus set to making his way by other means. He started skimming cargo as it passed on & off the ships. Over the years, he collected a small fortune. Some pieces he sold while others he kept for his personal collection. Eventually, he would have enough to leave the port town.
