Sienna is an orphan. Her father was killed by the First Order on Batuu, so she and her mother had to flee to Earth. On the way to Earth, her mother was misteated by smugglers and died in Sienna's arms. Now Sienna is all alone in Strangerville and has to steal and fight for food.
