Clark Gable was discovered lost, wondering around the abandoned power station by some of the older kids from the orphanage. He had no recollection of his home, who he was or how he'd gotten there - so they took him back to Jerry. Inspired by an old classic "It Happened One Night", Jerry named him Clark.
