Hector Lavoe was a Puerto Rican singer and is considered to be one of the most important people of Salsa music. From Ponce,Puert Rico he sold millions or records around the world with Fania Records. His story is very interesting and I would recomend watching his movie "El Cantante" to know his and the history of Salsa.
