Emmeline was given her (rather fancy) name in the hopes that, depsite her alien genetics, she could be raised into a well-mannered, high society lady. Unfortunately, all the pressure made her insane. Being taught which fork to use for which course before you can even sit up on your own tends to do that to a child. She's an active little thing, and very loving in her own, slightly surreal way.
