An author and future foster mom, April hopes to take care of four or five kids, but is not interested in making them after realizing she can't, (She is too thin, a problem which has been hard on her) and no longer wants to have children, particularly with the inhabitants near her. This was terrible for April at first, but has decided to foster and adopt instead.
