Honta graduated from University of Britechester and has settled in Newcrest as a school teacher. Her parents have recently past and left her with trinkets that link back to her ancestors. Honta finds out her ancestors once hunted and gathered on the lands which is now Granite Falls. This knowledge explains why she always felt a deep connection with the earth and why animals love her (including Kiko, her raccoon!)
