This family is composed of Sarah, a hippie from back in the day; Jacob, a gardening lover who is a professor of archaeology; and their three foster children. Laila and Penelope are blood sisters and have been lucky enough to be placed in the same foster home. Laila is scared and clingy, while Penelope is embracing her new found family. Benji is their newest addition, and very eager to please.
