The APBT is from bulldog, and terrier lines created for the blood'sport' of bull baiting, then after bull baiting was banned, unfortunately used for dog on dog combat. This breed can be intense, is typically high energy, and can have high prey drive. They need a dedicated owner who can handle a strong athletic dog.
