Bennet is the only child of Champ (or Champy) who is a lake monster that lives in Lake Champlain, a 125-mile long body of fresh water shared by New York and Vermont, with a portion extending into Quebec, Canada. He doesn't like leaving the lake, but if he does, he wanders Plattsburgh, New York late at night.
