It all started when Edith Byrd had an affair with her gardener, resulting on the birth of Clinton who she passed as the son of her own husband. When Clinton was two he together with Edith was witness of the Gardener running up to Mr. Byrd and shooting him dead. Edith realised that very moment that had allowed her bloodline to be tainted. 50 years later Edith is terminally sick and her family has come to visit her, or rather leech from her.
