Laura is a busy lady, she also has 2 kids. It's hard to be a single mother while working 24/7 at the office. Her husband passed away while picking up Kelsie from adoption office. He got in a car crash. Laura blames Hollis for the death because she wanted a sister. Hollis was only 14 at this time and Kelsie was only a baby.
