River really lived up to his name and fell in love with slimy, river-dwelling animals. He was too preoccupied with his fish as a child to notice his parents divorcing, and was too focused on his frogs as a teenager to notice his father toss him out on the streets. Despite that, however, River made a name for himself and married Eva during his party-fuelled youth.
