#YourNewDollChall Please do not be offended at these two. I am just trying to highlight what was a common problem with black dolls, and occasionally still is. One of my favourite dolls as a child in the 60's was a black mama doll who was dressed a lot like the 1st outfit here. I understood she was supposed to be a Southern cook. Being an Aussie kid that was just a sort of doll. As an adult I realise that was a stereotype. We grow and learn.
