Julia and Miriam are able to live in a wonderous snowglobe world thanks to Miriam's innate magical ability. Their daughter, Ivy is also a spell caster and has grown up in the fantastical snowglobe land. Julia's brother, Dax, is a bit of a jerk, but is permited to temporarily live in the snowglobe, as he is writing his latest book about spell casters and is without a home at the moment.
