William Wood is the fourth generation of farmers on his plot of land. He feels hopeful that his son, Adam, will take over when he is gone. Adam, however, is going to need help - and his husband is unlikely to provide much. Herlewin fell in love with Adam's 'farmer muscles' and down-to-earth personality, but has no intention of joining him and getting down and dirty in the earth.
