As military personnel, Kerry & Damien spend a lot of time in the field. Their two children are lovingly cared for by their grandfather, who is using this time to make up for his own absence in Kerry's life back when he was in the military. Despite the difficulty it can place on the family, they are still a tight unit and both Fallon & River hope to follow in their parents' footsteps one day.
