Created in the 80's by mixing different bulldog breeds such as English and American with American Staffordshire Terrier lines to make a less high strung "bully" breed. Recognized by the UKC. Since the original concept, people have mixed in various mastiff breeds for "XL" dogs, and even French Bulldog and APBT lines to make "pocket bullies". The UKC recognizes dogs that are not excessively large or 'exaggerated' features. Sometimes mistaken for APBTs. #AmericanBully #American #bully #breed
