Aurora isn't just any werewolf, when she turns with the full moon she becomes a magical, colourful galaxy werewolf. Not only that but her parents ironically decided to name her (a creature of the moon) the latin name for dawn, something about the rising sun having power over vampires, yeah her parents did not like vampires, don't ask its a touchy subject.
