The Dhole is a wild canid from East Asia, ranging from Indonesia to India, as well as parts of China. These highly social animals live in clans of as many as 40 individuals, though they are usually 12 or less. Unlike many canids, Dholes are diurnal and are active during the day. Unfortunately, the species is Endangered due to habitat destruction, diseases from domestic dogs, and being targeted due to preying on livestock. #wildlife #canine
