I personally dislike the term "#GamerGirl." It implies gaming is inherently a boy trait, & its "different" to be a "#GirlGamer." When I was little (3-4), I never thought whether my gender meant I should enjoy my games... I just played them. It honestly caused me great distress to learn how the world views girls that game. Gender-stereotyping video games is like gendering books. Replace "girl" w/ "boy" & "gamer" w/ "reader." Tell me-- how's it sound? (Poses: #SakuraLeon #Biohazzard121)
