Brothers orphaned as children, Farkas and Vilkas were taken in by one of The Companions in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Spoilers, but these guys are secretly werewolves, among others in The Circle, the higherups of The Companions. As Farkas says himself, Vilkas has the smarts in the family while Farkas is strong.
