Wirehaired Pointer
The German Wirehaired Pointer was created in Europe in the 1800s among hunters. The breed became established with kennel clubs in the earlier 1900s. Though aloof with strangers they tend to be amicable with their owners, even if generally stubborn. Most need a good amount of daily excercise such as running or a job to keep them content.
