Growing up on the streets since he was a teen, as an adult Duke was fed up. He quit working at the local burger joint, and headed to the islands for some R&R. Instead, he fell in love with the culture and people and has decided to stay. He did a part time stint as a Fisherman and then a Lifeguard before he realized his love of gardening.
