David Xanatos' behavior is often ruthless, although he does have a softer side. He is obsessed with immortality. He is not vindictive and tries to see the positive side of his defeats. Despite his intelligence and skilks he is not conceited. While he is capable of manipulating people, breaking trust and ruining lives, he draws the line at murder.
