Tragedy struck the night of the Garden Club Ball. Greenskeeper Elwood presented his prized Cow Plant, starved for the grand finale. Carrying the plant's food, his daughter Rosalie was attacked and eaten, dispite his efforts to save her. Disgraced, the mansion owners abandon the property.
