#FrenchBulldog I'm pleased to introduce Phoebe; the French Bulldog's renaissance! During the mid 19th century, lace workers from England traveled to France seeking better opportunities. Whilst upon this route, they brought their "toy" bulldogs as company. Quickly, the French women were allured by these minature bulldogs with upright ears. Soon the little "bat eared" bulldogs swept France into a fervor, resulting in unscrupulous breeding practices; selecting form over function.
