Claude is heir to the Monte Vista winery estate. Due to their vineyard manager being involved in counterfeiting iconic wines, their winery was linked to the scandal. Claude was encouraged to move to Newcrest to purchase near-bankrupt vineyards in order to restore the family name and honor. He soon forgets his purpose in Newcrest and is well-known on the club and party circuit.
